Baked Cod

Ingredients:

  • Cod fillets;

  • 1 clove of garlic;

  • extra-virgin olive oil;

  • parsley;

  • bread crumbs;

  • salt;

  • pepper;

Preparation:

The cod fillets are to be placed in a baking pan with some e.v. olive oil. A garlic clove and fresh parsley are to be finely chopped and then poured on the fillets together with some bread crumbs. All is to be baked for 15 minutes in a preheated oven.

Italian flag Cod - Baccalà al tricolore

Ingredients:

  • Cod fillets;

  • 1 clove of garlic;

  • extra-virgin olive oil;

  • parsley;

  • peeled tomatoes;

  • sea-salt;

  • pepper;

Preparation:

The cod fillets are to be placed face down with some e.v. olive oil and half a garlic clove in pan on a gentle fire. After 5 minutes they can be turned upside down. In the meantime the other half garlic clove and fresh parsley are to be finely chopped and then poured on the fillets together with some peeled tomato cut into little pieces. All is to be cooked for 5 to 10 minutes.

Cod fillet in tomato sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cod fillet per person;

  • flour mix;

  • garlic;

  • extra-virgin olive oil;

  • peeled tomato;

  • parsley;

Preparation:

After turned up on flour mix, the cod fillets are placed in a hot pan on very gentle fire with e.v. olive oil and a smashed garlic's clove. After being turned upside down, they can be salted and a few peeled tomatoes are to be placed on top of them for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
